Award-winning interior design consultant Alda G. Campanelli-Damiani dies aged 86

Alda G. (Andreozzi) Campanelli-Damiani, 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Wife of Martin Campanelli and the late Angelo Damiani and mother of the late Gina Vespia.
She was born in Providence, RI on October 28, 1934, to the late Rocco and Jennie (Rampino) Andreozzi. She is survived by her two sons, Angelo Damiani III, and his wife, Kathleen and Richard Damiani, and his wife, Cheryl.
She is survived by two of her six siblings, Rocco Andreozzi Jr. and Anthony Andreozzi. In addition, she is survived by her son-in-law, Stephen Vespia, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Alda worked 22 years as an interior design consultant. During this time, she won numerous awards for best sellers. She raised three children. Alda loved the beach, loved shopping and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a fabulous cook and was famous for her Monday night dinners. Alda has lived a busy life and will be sadly missed by all whose lives she has blessed, especially her family. She believed in family values ââand taught their importance to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a deep love for her Savior Jesus Christ and attended church daily.
Parents and friends are invited to attend his Christian Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 2 at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 1804 Avenue, Johnston, RI.
Interment will follow at St. Ann’s cemetery.
