Hardy sheds light on Mavericks’ summer league roster

Second-round rookie Jaden Hardy and second-year forward Moses Wright highlight the roster for the Mavericks who will compete in the NBA Summer League July 7-17 in Las Vegas.
The Mavericks had Hardy with the 37e global choice in an exchange with Sacramento. The Henderson, Nevada native will make his summer debut with the Mavericks just minutes from where he went to high school.
Wright played in four NBA games last season, including three with the Mavericks, with whom he signed a two-way contract in February. The 6-9 Wright and 6-4 Jalen Lecque are the only members of the summer league roster with NBA experience.
Lecque (pronounced luh-Q), has played sparingly in nine NBA games over the past two seasons for Phoenix and Indiana.
The Mavericks signed 13 players to their summer roster, including China’s Guo Haowen, who played for the Shanghai Sharks last season, and former Houston Cougar Justin Gorham (full list below).
The Mavericks will meet for their first summer practice on Tuesday. They’ll practice Wednesday and Thursday before heading to Las Vegas, where they’ll open summer action on July 8 at 1 p.m. Dallas time against summer team Chicago.
