Our client is looking to recruit a Pricing and Trading Conditions Manager who is a whole new role and will drive sustainable profitable growth and maximize ROI through the delivery of revenue growth initiatives related to price optimization, promotion and commercial conditions.Customer detailsOur client is a leader in its sector and is an FMCG multinational.The descriptionThe role:
- Be the main intermediary between the sales and commercial control teams ensuring that the decisions made generate the most value for the organization
- Be responsible for reviewing and recommending the optimal strategy for trading conditions in accordance with global best practices
- Be the owner of the development and implementation of the pricing and promotion strategy across brands, channels and markets
- Advising sales teams to improve investment choices
- Ensure delivery of revenue growth topics affecting pricing, optimization of trade terms and promotion effectiveness
- Track KPIs and assess investment performance across key markets, channels and customers, working closely with sales and finance teams
- Lead monthly reviews to gain consensus on strategy and investment decisions
- Sustainable growth in value and profits
- Optimized business investment and return on investment
- Line of sight of all key affected areas
- Strategic alignment between teams, functions and markets
- Provide clear advice on a portfolio of brands, review compliance and identify gaps in opportunities
- Master the price change process in connection with finance and sales
- Support a consistent set of business terms across markets, channels and customers, with regular review and continuous optimization
- Provide tools and strategy to help teams plan promotion activity
- Lead the post-activity ROI analysis
- Establish learning and best practices to optimize future promotional investments
ProfileThe holder must have the following:
- Advanced degree – preferably a business or finance degree (non-negotiable)
- 5 years of work experience in sales, business analysis or revenue growth
- Extensive experience in FMCG, trade finance or price management
- Exposure to net income management
