More than 20 street crime incidents reported in capital – Journal

ISLAMABAD: Cash and valuables were looted from 26 different locations in the capital, police said on Thursday.

A gang of four intercepted and held Sohail Kashif at gunpoint and seized his vehicle. Unidentified burglars broke into Mohammad Nadeem’s house at G-11/1 and escaped with 25,000 rupees in cash, three watches worth 1.8 million rupees, gold ornaments and a laptop, they said, adding that gold ornaments, 10,000 rupees in cash and a 30-barrel gun were taken away by burglars from Talib Hussain’s house.

In a separate incident, unidentified burglars broke into Adnan Quraishi’s house and escaped with 500,000 rupees in cash and a gun, police said, adding that 100,000 rupees in cash, gold ornaments, a laptop and other electronic items had been taken from Dr. Hadayat’s home. ullah.

Similarly, burglars broke into Riasat Ali’s house at Zaraj Housing and escaped with Rs 600,000 in cash and gold ornaments, they said, adding Rs 200,000 in cash, gold ornaments and other household items were stolen by burglars from Zakia Kanwal’s house in Sihala.

Similarly, burglars broke into the house of Farzan Najam at the Police Foundation and took with them gold ornaments, 150,000 rupees in cash, bonds worth 50,000 rupees and cash. other valuables, they said, adding that gold ornaments worth Rs 1.2 million were taken by burglars from the house of Mohammad Ashraf Quraishi.

Additionally, burglars broke into Ghulam Saqlain Bhatti’s house and took with them gold ornaments and Rs 85,000 in cash, police said, adding that the thieves stole Rs 20,000 in cash and a laptop in Palwasha’s house.

Meanwhile, three cars including Toyota Altis and Mehran were stolen from the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) and Sharifabad, police said, adding that a dozen motorbikes were stolen from D-12, G- 8/4, Sohan, Khanna, Rawal Dam Chowk, Sangjani, F-11/1, Aabpara Market, G-9, Faisal Masjid parking lot, Centaurus Mall and Rawat.
