Mouser Electronics Now Offers 16-Channel LTC2688 DAC Analog Devices for Optical Networking and Automation

The LTC2688 provides engineers with advanced capabilities, efficiency and programmability for a variety of optical networking, automation and telecommunications applications.
The Analog Devices LTC2688, available from Mouser Electronics, is a 16-channel, 16-bit DAC with built-in precision reference to improve output precision. The DAC has independently programmable channels, with five outputs, ranging from 0 V to ± 15 V. Providing monotonic stability, the LTC2688 includes built-in rail-to-rail output buffers that can generate or sink up to ± 20 mA.
The LTC2688 also offers an external reference for additional range options and an analog multiplexer to simplify the measurement of pin voltages, load currents, and junction temperature. The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and MICROWIRE ™ compatible 3-wire serial interface operate at logic levels as low as 1.71 V and clock rates up to 50 MHz.
The LTC2688 is supported by the DC2873A-B evaluation board, also available from Mouser. The DC2873A-B is a complete evaluation board that, when paired with the required DC2026C demo board, allows designers to use Analog Analysis, Control and Evaluation (ACE) software.
