PM Modi will discuss the future vision of Ayodhya’s development plan today
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss Ayodhya’s future development vision today in a virtual meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Sources confirmed on Friday that the future vision includes modernization, roads, infrastructure, train station, airport and several other ongoing projects.
Earlier in February this year, Adityanath said the state government’s proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya had been approved by the Center.
âThe UP government’s proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya was approved by the Center. About Rs 1,000 crore was allocated to the district administration by the state government. The central government disbursed 250 crore of rupees, “the chief minister told ANI.
Speaking about tourism and pilgrimage to Ayodhya, the chief minister said: âAyodhya is popular for Ramjanmabhoomi. Work in Ayodhya is underway for the construction of the Lord Ram temple. Thousands of devotees and pilgrims visit Ayodhya. The city offers an amalgam of spirituality. and tourism and central and state governments are working on its development. “
Last year, on August 5, Prime Minister Modi traveled to Ayodhya to attend the âBhoomi pujanâ at the Ram Janmbhoomi site.
In February 2020, the Prime announced the constitution of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, to oversee the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. (ANI)
