Pune: 135 flyers landed after sitting in GoAir flight for 40 minutes | Pune News

The flight was scheduled to take off from Pune at 5:45 p.m. and land in Delhi at 8 p.m.
After boarding, the aircraft, an Airbus A320, did not take off.
“We just sat on the plane and waited. After 40 minutes all flyers were asked to disembark. No reason was given and the airline crew said ground staff told us would provide the answers. However, even at the terminal, no explanation came from anyone,” a flyer said.
A GoFirst spokesperson confirmed there was a technical issue with the flight from Pune to Delhi.
“Arrangements are being made for flyers. There is another flight (G8176), which will take off from Pune at 23:50. The passenger load factor on this flight is 118. If some flyers agree, they will be adjusted on this flight. However, even with the adjustment, there will be an excess of 58 passengers. Either they will receive a full refund if they opt for this, or they will be adjusted on an early flight on Friday,” said one. GoFirst spokesperson.
The Flyers said there was no reason for them to sit on the plane for 40 minutes. “Doesn’t the crew check every aspect of the plane before boarding begins? It’s frustrating to get absolutely no response and sit on the plane and then be suddenly landed,” a flyer said.
Another flyer said passengers had to walk from one end of the terminal to the other to speak to ground staff, but had no idea.
“On the plane too, we were seated in the airline and the staff kept quiet. It’s like taking flyers for granted,” the flyer said.
