Samsung Announces UK Availability of World’s First 240Hz 4K Gaming Monitor, ‘Odyssey Neo G8’ – Samsung Newsroom UK
London, UK – 13e July 2022 – Samsung Electronics UK Ltd. today announced the UK availability of the Odyssey Neo G8, the world’s first 240Hz 4K gaming monitor.
“We are delighted to announce the UK availability of the Odyssey Neo G8, the world’s fastest 4K gaming monitor,” said Daler Bhaker, Samsung Electronics UK Ltd. “The Odyssey Neo G8 is a truly exceptional product that allows consumers to fully immerse themselves in the gaming experience. We are thrilled that everyone is enjoying it.
The 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8 is the world’s first and fastest monitor that combines a 4K (3840 x 2160) 1000R curved VA panel with Quantum Matrix technology, with an ultra-fast 240 refresh rate Hz and a response time of 1 ms (GtG). Inspired by the Odyssey Neo G9, the design of the Odyssey Neo G8 offers a unique exterior, while being packed with first-class features.
Quantum Mini LED technology allows the Odyssey Neo G8 to have precise control of densely packed LEDs, ensuring gamers see both dark and bright scenes. CoreSync lighting on the back of the monitor automatically detects on-screen colors and projects them in real life to create a more immersive feeling.
New display technology called Matte Display provides anti-glare and anti-reflective protection, which means distractions are kept to a minimum so users can focus on the content in front of them. The Odyssey Neo G8 comes with a height-adjustable stand (HAS), as well as swivel and tilt functionality for ergonomic efficiency and VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) compliant mounting – users can adapt their space to their convenience for maximum comfort and productivity.
The Odyssey Neo G8 is available to buy (MSRP £1,299.99) via Samsung.com.
